 A classic sleeveless knitted V-neck vest created to be worn across the seasons. With its timeless silhouette and effortless versatility, the Ade Vest is designed to be layered, lived in, and cherished for years to come.

The symbols woven into our creations were chosen with great care, inspired by the meaningful patterns and traditions found across African textiles and cultures. Each motif carries a story and a blessing, representing values such as wealth and good fortune, bravery and courage, and the strength to walk life's path with purpose.

Together, these symbols form what we call The Zuri Pattern. We named our pattern after the Swahili word for "beautiful." More than a design, it is a celebration of heritage and meaning, a collection of timeless symbols brought together in the hope that all who wear them may be wrapped in their beauty and the virtues they represent.

The Ade is locally knitted in Cape Town, South Africa with 100% South African Cotton from one of the best cotton mills in the country which creates the softest and most luxurious superior cotton.

Cotton is one of the world's oldest known fibres much loved for centuries for its comfort, versatility, breathability, & hypoallergenic properties.

Handmade

The Ade Vests are made to order. Please allow for up to 10 - 20 working days for manufacturing when we do not have stock on-hand. We will email you once your Zuri order is ready, and ship it accordingly.

Because all our products are handmade and hand dyed, there may be colour and shape variations, which is what makes our products unique and individual. These small variations add to the charm, tactile look and feel of each item.
